Valuations Direct from Safeguard

 

JEWELLERY AND WATCH VALUATIONS DIRECT FROM SAFEGUARD

Please note,  our express valuation service is unavailable until the end of August 2022, but will recommence on the 1st September 2022. 

The SafeGuard Independent Jewellery Valuation service is available in over 1,000 high street retailers.

However, if visiting a SafeGuard retailer is not convenient and you would prefer to submit your jewellery and silverware items direct to SafeGuard, this option is available.

Insurance companies require jewellery valuations to be updated every 3 years.  To be fully insured, your jewellery items will need to be listed separately on your contents insurance policy.  If you are in the unfortunate situation where you need to make a claim following, loss damage or theft, an up-to-date valuation is paramount in ensuring a claim can be settled accurately.

Precious items such as jewellery can fluctuate in value, which is why it is important to keep your valuations up-to-date.  If you would like to find out more, please email info@safeguardvaluations.co.uk

DIAMOND SCREENING SERVICE

We will automatically screen all jewellery items or watches set with diamonds to determine they are natural or potentially laboratory grown.  This will be offered as a standard part of our reputable jewellery valuation service.

If you do not wish to use this service, please ensure you  'OPT-OUT' on the submission form otherwise your items will be automatically screened and you will be charged for the service.

HOW DO I SEND MY ITEMS DIRECT TO SAFEGUARD?

It’s easy, complete the submission form and send this with your items to the following address:

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Jewellery Valuation £90.00 per item*

Watch Valuation £135.00 per item*

Diamond Screening (if required) - £11 for items with 20 diamonds or less/ £22 for items with more than 20 diamonds

Post and packaging - £10.20 per parcel

*Complex items may incur an additional charge; we will contact you before proceeding with the work if this is the case.

Please note, we are no longer able to accept cheques.
